Up for auction is a Speedball Linoleum Cutters Assortment No. 2, No. 4132 in its original box. The box measures approximately 5 ¼ inches by 8 inches by 1 inch deep and weighs 5-3/8 ounces.
It holds 2 handles and 6 cutters plus a paper advertising other Speedball products.
The condition is good – there’s a little rust on some of the blades but nothing major.
The box shows a bit of wear – I’ve had this a long time!
According to my research, the Hunt Manufacturing Company began as the C. Howard Hunt Manufacturing Company of Camden, NJ in 1897.
In 1915 they developed the Speedball ballpoint pen. In 1957 the company moved to Statesville, NC, and in 1962 changed their name to the Hunt Manufacturing Company. Thanks for looking!
